Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS) Login

All appliances regulated under Title 20 (including federally regulated products) must be certified to the CEC MAEDbS to be legally sold or offered for sale in California. If you are a manufacturer, test laboratory or third-party certifier, you will need to log into the MAEDbS in order to submit product data. However, you can search the MAEDbS for compliant products without having to log in.
MAEDbS Quick Search

Use the MAEDbS quick or advanced search to identify compliant products. Each search can be narrowed by selecting appliance type, efficiency ratings, model number, manufacturer and other features.

The DOE’s main web portal for U.S. federal appliance and equipment standards, including information, documents, and useful links.
Compliance Certification Management System (CCMS)

The DOE’s publicly-accessible database for compliance certification of appliances and equipment regulated under DOE energy conservation standards. Manufacturers and third-parties whose appliances and equipment are regulated under both Title 20 and federal standards must certify to both the Energy Commission MAEDBS and the DOE CCMS.
